WEBINAR: How Can Metal Binder Jetting with Chrome Cobalt Revolutionize AM in Dentistry

Chrome Cobalt Webinar

3D printing is increasingly being adopted in the dental sector thanks to its ability to create fully customizable parts with complex geometries, making it perfect for applications such as retainers. Though often associated with SLS, and especially polymers, increasingly applications for metal additive manufacturing are being known. This is especially clear in the case of binder jetting, a technology that uses powder (especially metals), like in powder bed fusion, but with a binding agent instead of a laser. This allows for parts that are made faster than many other metal 3D printing technologies. One material that has been gaining interest with AM in dentistry is chrome cobalt which can be printed using metal binder jetting. The material is popular in the dental sector thanks to its biocompatibility, hypo-allergenic nature and strength. But what dental applications can it be used for? And how can you print with this material?

If you are interested in learning the answers to these questions and more then don’t miss out on our next webinar, “How Can Metal Binder Jetting with Chrome Cobalt Revolutionize AM in Dentistry?” We will be joined by Lino 3D and NOVAMIND on December 9th, 2021 at 4PM CET (10AM EST/5PM EEST) to cover how metal binder jetting, through examples using Desktop Metal’s Shop System,  can be used to create parts using chrome cobalt for the dental sector. We will also delve into the use of AM in general in dentistry as well as specific applications. The session will be followed by a Q&A. Register for free!
