PostProcess today announced a partnership with Laser Prototypes Europe, Ltd.
(LPE) to deploy automated post-printing for LPE’s extensive customer base in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
the UK’s oldest prototyping bureau
was founded in 1991
and has made a point of investing in cutting-edge technology and materials to ensure customers have access to high-quality prototype models.
LPE is the first firm in Northern Ireland to deploy an automated post-printing solution, adding to its list of “firsts.” LPE was the first company in the UK to implement an EOS Rapid Prototyping system.
The bureau has deployed the PostProcess® DEMI 430TM for software-driven resin removal to increase productivity in its additive operation. LPE discovered that the DEMI 430
was the only solution
for finishing items printed with stereolithography, digital light processing,
and selective laser sintering from the more than 20 resins in use, in addition to delivering efficient post-printing.
Even as print quantities grow, the DEMI 430 solution uses technology to assure shorter process times, enhanced safety, and a more simplified workflow.
“Staying ahead of the curve is what has enabled us to provide quality prototypes and products to our customers for the last 30 years,” stated Tom Walls, Managing Director, Laser Prototypes Europe, Ltd.
We’re excited to streamline our processes even further with the DEMI 430’s automated post-printing,
which we know will intelligently handle our diverse range of print methods and resins.”
“With this cooperation, we have the opportunity to engage with a well-established brand that shares our innovative attitude,” stated Ken Whild, Head of UK & Ireland for PostProcess Technologies International.
“We are certain that the DEMI 430 will enhance LPE’s existing effective prototype
and manufacturing processes, allowing them to continue delivering quality products to their customers in record time.”
