Are you looking for new materials and more sustainability in your manufacturing process? We have some great news for you this month.
What is Happening in November at Sculpteo?
We’re launching new 3D printing materials: Discover the benefits of bio-based materials!
Sculpteo’s online 3D printing service launched four PA11 materials. And that is not it, to celebrate the arrival of these new PA11 materials, we offer you an 11% discount on your PA11 orders! Use the code: 11%_off_PA11 (valid until 30 November 2020 on all PA11 materials)
Here are all the bio-based materials added to our catalog to help your reach a more sustainable manufacturing process.
Ultrasint® PA11 ESD is a bio-derived powder with electrostatic discharging properties for increased process safety in advanced applications. With its interesting mechanical properties, this material offers new possibilities for a wide range of applications, especially for the electronics sector.
Ultrasint® PA11 CF is a carbon-filled, bio-derived, powder for advanced Powder Bed Fusion applications. This material is one of the strongest materials in the 3D printing industry, combining high ductility and impact performance as well as really high rigidity.
Two classic PA11 versions of this bio-derived powder with exceptionally high toughness. These materials have the particularity of offering high ductility and impact strength for all applications. Do you need durable parts able to withstand high mechanical loads and stress? Ultrasint® PA11 and PA11 HP are options to consider.
But wait, there’s more!
PA11s are not the only ones to join our 3D printing catalog. Here are two other interesting options for you:
Ultrasint® PA6 MF (Mineral-Filled) is the material of choice for any advanced technical application where mechanically reinforced thermoplastics are needed. PA6 MF boasts extremely high rigidity, media tightness and enhanced thermal distortion performance.
This 17-4 PH stainless steel can be fully heat-treated to high levels of strength and hardness. This Ultrafuse® 17-4 PH material is characterized by its impressive strength. It is also one of the most affordable materials for metal 3D printing!
Let’s fight Prostate Cancer!
During all of November, while ordering on Sculpteo, you will have the possibility to buy a 5$/€ 3D printed mustache keychain. For each donation, Sculpteo will donate 10$/€ to Prostate Cancer research. Don’t miss this opportunity to raise money for a great cause.
What happened in October: Here are Sculpteo’s updates!
Here are the articles and projects we released this past month:
Additive manufacturing technology can be a real revolution for your business, offering the opportunity to innovate, adapt, and scale to meet the needs of an ever-changing market.
The objective of this playbook is to focus on how 3D printing is driving businesses to be more adaptable, the benefits and possibilities created by adaptability, and concretely how to implement 3D printing for more adaptability in your business.
We interviewed Andreas Wuest, Head of Dynamic Structural Analysis, working at BASF S.E. What is Simulation for AM, for who is Simulation interesting and could it be an advantage for you to use these services? Let’s find out!
Generative design can become a real ally for your manufacturing process. Who should benefit from this technique, and what is the impact of this design method on the future of manufacturing? Check out this article for more info.
We will see what are bioplastics or biopolymers, how they can be used in 3D printing, and also give you some examples of their applications. These materials can present some really interesting mechanical properties and participate in the development of a more sustainable manufacturing industry.
