voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centers North America, part of voestalpine AG’s High Performance Metals Division, will showcase its range of Additive Manufacturing technologies and expertise at Rapid + TCT 2019 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, May 21–23, 2019.
The division’s technology offering includes in-house powder development, engineering and production services, as well as wire feedstock for AM. Its focus during the exhibition is expected to be on helping customers identify the best applications and Additive Manufacturing technologies to achieve their manufacturing goals.
“Not a day goes by when we do not hear or read about the transformational opportunities offered to manufacturers by Additive Manufacturing. Our aim has always been to help our customers grow and to utilise the latest advances in technology to achieve their growth goals. We hope that the show will help support this goal and look forward to seeing you in May,” stated Martin Beaton, President of voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centers & Vice-President of Innovation & Value-Added, North America.
According to voestalpine, it will discuss the challenges which manufacturers face in ‘cutting through the hype’ and knowing the right questions to ask when making the decision to adopt AM. voestalpine believes that its ‘concept to component’ approach provides a comprehensive resource that can help customers answer questions and deliver functional solutions which maximise the benefits of AM.
There are expected to be over 6,000 visitors in attendance at Rapid + TCT, and approximately 350 exhibiting companies, as well as over 110 conference presentations. Further information on Rapid + TCT 2019 can be found on the event’s website.
